Live Oak Country Club first opened for play in 1953

Live Oak is a private 9-hole course, named appropriately for the ancient live oak trees that line the fairways. This short layout (2,878 yards) is flat, making it perfect for the walking golfer. Nothing too fancy here- just a few water hazards and some random bunkers scattered throughout. There are additional sets of tees that can be used when playing a double loop eighteen holes. Greens are small so short game needs to be on. Also staying on the fairway helps a lot here due to bare lies off of the fairay.
